life oh life

So, I'm back from Coron! Actually, one week na pala from our Coron adventure but because it's only now that I was able to fix and post my pics, feeling ko fresh na fresh pa rin ang vacation. :D

We were 13 total in the group. O di ba? Andami! Source of anxiety pa siya sa kin kasi 13 kami, tapos Friday the 13th pa flight! hahahaha. Good thing, 3 (Ben, Odette and Raymond) went ahead on Nov 12. Hahahaha! Anyway, featuring the Coron cast...

During our stay, we went to 1 lagoon, 1 hot spring, 1 lake, 1 mountain, 2 cliffs, 2 coral gardens, 2 shipwreck sites, 3 beaches and fed thousands of fish. Syempre, OA yung thousands at hindi ko na talaga sure kung tama yung numbers ko, but just to get my point across... all day, NASA LAOT kami. hahahaha. Sabi nga ni Ate, nasobrahan tayo sa ligo ngayon. :D

Coron is definitely a paradise for city people like us. Breath taking views, relaxing atmosphere... nakakaadik dito. :D The highlight of the trip for me was snorkeling in Kalamboyan (again, not sure of the beach! hehehe). Sobrang ganda ng corals! It's like swimming in one gigantic aquarium. Haaayyy...

I'm planning to go back. This time with college friends. Nainggit sila sa kin. Hahahaha. Sino pa kasama? Sana may piso fare ulit! weee!!! :D

Happiness is hard to come by lately. But, I'm now "freshly" determined to appreciate the good things that come my way.  To start, here are some of the things worth looking forward to.

Sabi nga ni Vicky, "AWESOME". 2 days after the concert, I still can't get over her ka-gaga-han. Hahahaha. Money well spent nga. I really didn't think of watching the concert up until Dangsy texted. The ever-kaladkarin Aime said yes at heto bumili na kagad ng tickets. Days before the concert, I find myself excited and pressured to memorize the songs and planning our outfit for the night. Nids suggested wag na raw kami mag pants. :D

Well, Lady Gaga didn't disappoint. Sige na nga, mapapatawad na namin ang "super high" tech cardboard and foil props nya at ang tinipid nyang costumes-slash-panties. Hahahahaha! Super fun experience (sarap magwala at sumigaw sigaw), the crowd was amazing (kasi andun kaming 4! hahaha) and Lady Gaga can really sing. Of course, given na na super enjoyable ang Poker Face and Just Dance, but I was definitely impressed when she sang Brown Eyes. Basta, wowowowow!!! I so liked Boys Boys Boys kahit hindi ko alam yung lyrics at "Boys boys boys!" lang ang nasisigaw ko. Ang landi landi kasi ng dance steps. WOOOOOOO!!!

So, there. Lady Gaga is one gutsy bi-a-tch! :D

Last week, I was watching ANC's Start Up. Bum Aquino was talking with a chef/owner of a restaurant and bed & breakfast in Rizal. He asked her what does she like best about having a business of her own. The owner replied, "the lifestyle it gives me." She loves the fact the she comes to work everyday with birds chirping in her workplace. She clarifies, "Don't get me wrong, there are also days that you're stressed, but at least there are still birds chirping in the background."

Gosh, naiinggit ako. I wish for a job that gives me that kind of lifestyle. Tipong free of worries. Well, I'm sure you're not exactly free, but at least you're worried for your own business and not for the business of others.

Lately, I've been thinking of what I really want. As in really really want in life. Definitely, ayokong magtrabaho forever sa corporate world. At lalong ayaw ko magtrabaho for a crappy boss. But that's a different entry altogether. I remember, nung college, during a Unilever career talk, the speaker asked, "If you could have any job in the world, regardless of salary, job security etc., what would that be?" One answered, travel show host. Si Nids ata, gusto national geographic correspondent. Ako, gusto ko dancer. hahahahahaha. Lately, I've been daydreaming that I'm resigning in my current job because I was able to get a scholarship to study contemporary dance in London. Hanep di ba? Mag daydream ka na nga lang, dapat grandiose na!

Haaaay.... gusto ko sumayaw at mag picture picture at pumunta sa Holland.

hahahaha. First name basis! We're tight!

2. Do you remember Sandara Park?

                  Apparently, she now has a girl pop group in Korea. Kamusta naman kaya si Hero? hehehehehe

I think it must be the coffee during breakfast. :D

Heniwey, I had a talk with super bossing yesterday. I did not bother mentioning all my hinaing sa buhay anymore because I know that he knows already. Besides, wala na namang bearing because: 1. I already told my concerns to PO; 2. I know super bossing already talked with my IS about our concerns and I think he instructed her to change a bit; 3. I have already made my decision to stay for a while. 

2 key advices I got from him:

"I have always maintained that if you're learning something, STAY. "
"Don't let anyone, particulary, your boss, influence your decision. You must be sure that it's really want you want."

 Now, all I need to do is to FOCUS. Channel my energy to something productive. NO MORE DRAMA!





Well, at least, until October. hehehehehehe

I promised that I'll be patient. I will not make rushed decisions. I'll be less emotional. I'll be logical.


I hate this. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

1. New Haircut
I got inspired by Reg's and Cheryl's short hair during our trip to La Union, so I braved the salon and got myself a new look! Whew, love it! Hurray for short hair! :D

2. MMDA trying to be funny
I really don't know if the MMDA is trying to be witty here. But, it definitely caught our attention. :D Kamag-anak ng PED XING
Okay, huge sigh of relief. Na-regular ako! Thank goodness. Now, the real question is: How long can I stay? Hmmm... Chie said that there are some things and people that you have to give up on. Not because you're not a fighter, but just because they're not worth it. But she (or her dad, ata) also said, "We live for the challenges in life" and that "Tough makes it worthwhile, and fun in the end."

CONFLICTING!!! Goodluck to me. In the meantime, I'm busying myself with having a WORK-LIFE balance. I'll be dancing as part of our division presentation. at sa ULTRA ito. hahahahahahaha. This is it! Next na ang ARANETA. wooohooo!

4. Paint by Light
Our electricity line was busted yesterday. So, while we wait for the Meralco crew to bring in LIWANAG NG BUHAY, I tried painting by light. After so many tries, all I can say is that I'm not successful. PERIOD. Only this picture is worth posting.

I told myself at the start of the year that 2009 will be a challenge. And it's really turning out to be one. Grrrr. And it's only Q1+++! But then again, I should not give up. THINK POSITIB, WALANG AAYAW! Remember what you said last December: 2009, BRING IT ON!
